Comments
When visitors leave comments or reviews on the marketplace, we collect the data shown in the comments form. We also track the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help automated spam detection and maintain a safe ecosystem for everyone.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After public approval of your comment, your profile picture becomes visible to the general public in the context of your written comment.
Media
If you upload images or business banners to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can potentially download and extract any location data from media files hosted on the portal.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment or a public business review, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can automatically recognize and approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a long moderation queue.
For users that register on our community marketplace, we safely store the personal information they provide in their secure user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their primary username). Website administrators can also see and edit that structural information to maintain quality standards.
